We seem to be going thru the week without the contestants solving the conundrum - three so far if it is a fourth today (hee-hee) what odds for a fifth tomorrow? And has it been done before?

Must be rare enough to score with a 3 in any round, but to happen in the first round so it shows on the scoreboard must be almost unheard of!
2nd numbers game (690) could be solved by keeping the numbers as they appeared and adding the signs thus: + - - x x
4th numbers (10 + 7) x 50 + (6 x 5) - 8.

Well, I pleased today having beaten the wife Tracey in round 1 when I got Umami and got the Conundrum before her and not often I do that.

It has happened before, I remember it at the time, as I went off in a rage about the champion at the time, it was the week beginning with this episode.

CLOUTED in round 4, TACONITE in round 8, GYRATES in round 10, LIGNEOUS/RESOLING in round 11 and PROVIRUS in round 12.
