This is our last Countdown of the week, but it'll be a good one. Mark Davies is on the verge of becoming the second octochamp of the series. He could also potentially take the number 1 seed from Tricia Pay, with a score of 112 or more. If he doesn't or loses, he'll still be the number 2 seed as of now. Two very strong players have occurred back to back, let's see how Mark's run ends today.

Shame he didn't make 1st seed but I think the max today was only 121 so he did well.

Really excited about the series finals already after a second brilliant octorun in as many weeks - it's going to be super-competitive with Tricia and Mark hopefully going to be joined by Paul Worsley and Dan McColm.

Great play, Mark! Unlucky to miss out on top spot but you came up against a good opponent. Thoroughly deserved to be an octochamp as you've been very impressive throughout your run. You'll certainly be one to avoid in the finals.
