So, Countdown seems to be on a run of great shows at the moment, with the super-impressive Mark Davies still in the champions' chair, just 2 wins away from octochampdom.

And interestingly enough, thanks to more horse racing, there are only 2 episodes of the show this week.

Although, on the plus side, barring a short, sharp bout of tiredness, we should hopefully be seeing Mark win shows 7 and 8 today and tomorrow.

Angellica Bell will be in DC for both shows this week.

I actually did it by (50 - 6) * 8 = 352, then 7-6 for 1. I gave up on 50*7 quite (maybe too) quickly

Never saw a 3 there either, so I went 6 x (50+6) + 25 - 8
