Ten-letter conundrums

This thread is a bit like Jack's conundrum game thread but with ten-letter conundrums.

The rules:

Solve as many as you like, but replace however many you solved with your own ten-letter conundrums.

No obscure words. There's nothing wrong with a conundrum being difficult, but it should be difficult because it's hard to spot, not because you're relying on the player not to have heard of the answer. To illustrate with nine-letter examples, you might spot KIWIHAZAS instantly if you know the word from apterous, but if you haven't you've probably got no chance. On the other hand, INERTSTAR, whose answer is a commonly-known word, is hard to solve even for strong players. This is why I've picked ten-letter conundrums; nobody's practiced them on apterous so there should be a good number of well-known tens which are difficult to unscramble.

Just to say I had SUPERSONIC for that first one. Also, I can't be bothered with this hidden text thing, especially when typing on my phone.
