We have a new champ, our own Samir Pilica. Can he get another one today?

My first method to 656 was (50/2)x(25-1)+(7x8), then I saw Rachel's way.

The computer agrees with Rachel that 823 is closest - I managed 818 in time and 820 and 824 out of time.

GUENONS must be Samir's best spot there - I was guessing Ms Dent wouldn't get it.

Nice to see playing on-line mentioned at the end.

GUENONS was a nice spot from Samir, although I was surprised when Susie said you could have NONAGES, as its opposite DOTAGES was disallowed not too long ago.

I'd like Rachel to still show her method when the target is unreachable, like they used to. Also, apparently Samir plays online - you can play Countdown online now?!

Agree with you, Adam, or at least tell us one away which way! Had 820 in time I think, and managed 824 out of time. Gave up on one away I'm afraid ;)
Was lucky with the first numbers and saw the 8, 7 and 56 in the target straight away, so just had to find a 75. I guess you either see it or you don't, and if I was there I wouldn't ;)

HYPERGOAT^ in round 2.

Another strong display by Samir, haven't seen Friday's game yet but he looks like a strong competitor.
