Susie said only the AE plural was in the dictionary, not that it was valid in that selection.

By the way, Nick never asks people what they also had if they stick with six or seven or whatever. It used to be quite interesting when contestants were asked this. So this is disappointing.

Agreed, which makes me think he isn't really that interested in what's going on.

Sometimes she does, because Nick never does and she wants it to happen so has to make it happen herself. She should give Nick a look as if to say "Why the fuck didn't you ask?" when she does it.

I know his opponent, David Jameson from the Mind Sports Olympiad, which is an annual multi-games tournament in London. At the last event in August, a Countdown rep was recruiting, so he must have signed up (me also) at the event.
