Mark Murray got over his toughest test thus far yesterday in fellow apterite Ciaran McCarthy. He's looking pretty strong so far, against strong competition to boot, but how will he do in game number 4?

Last numbers: ((25 x 8 + 8)/2) x 7 + 1 = 729

Managed the last numbers slightly quicker than Rachel, but only managed 728 in time (26x28), sadly.
Nice to see Mark getting a 100 on first recorded programme of the day.

Or the long way round for me.................. ((75 - 9) x 4) + 9 - 3.
But a slightly quicker 3rd numbers game with ((10 + 3) x 50) + 1 =
651
PATONCE in round 1, ISOMERS/MOSSIER in round 2, FOEHN/XENON in round 5, DISRATED in round 10, MOIDORE in round 11, AVENGERS in round 12 and POTJIES in round 13.
1st Numbers Alt.: (((5 x 100) - 25) x 2) + 8 + 1 =
959
At least all that made up for quickly guessing ACADEMICAL for the conundrum.
