Spoilers for Friday March 28th 2014 (S70 P56)
As we wrap up this week, we have yet another new champion, Peter Cross. Not many people have won multiple games this week, can Peter get the trend going in the right direction?
As with last week, we have a new guest today because of the odd scheduling, presenter with a notable accent, Colin Murray.
Join Anthony for the recap later.

Is Ann Robinson any relation of James? GRAPHEME was a great spot - I foolishly went for HOME PAGE.

Yes, very surprising miss by the corner.Tony Atkins wrote:Was OUTDATES there in R10?
GRAPHEME has to be one of the best ever spots by a non-apterite, maybe even by any contestant full stop. Had me beaten all ends up and I can't even see a seven.
Edit: Four wins in a row for the challengers now, I wonder when that last happened. Graeme?

Or perhaps the tend. I thought it was a bit strange when Susie was talking about hoe phrases turn into other phrases by lots of people getting them wrong, and she suggested that trending on Twitter was one of these. I don't think that sounds right.Jordan F wrote:As we wrap up this week, we have yet another new champion, Peter Cross. Re: Spoilers for Friday March 28th 2014 (S70 P56)
I think Susie meant that people were mixing up the words 'tending' and 'trending' because of Twitter. I think an example could be 'we are trending to have less Apterites on the show this series' rather than the correct 'we are tending to have less Apterites on the show this series'.Gavin Chipper wrote:Or perhaps the tend. Looks like the last time 4 challengers in a row won was in Series 63, and it also happened in Series 62.
Don't know what the record is, but in Series 59 the challenger beat the champion 7 times in a row.

Lol, afraid not, Tony. Although, my mum's middle name is that spelling of Ann. And that GRAPHEME is one of the best ever spots that I've seen, so well done to Ann for that oneTony Atkins wrote:Is Ann Robinson any relation of James?

Just stuck this on for a few rounds this morning - letters have been top quality from both contestants; GRAPHEME had me beaten all ends up!
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U
C1: SIGNATURE (18) ["9; not written down"]
C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)
Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."
