Is it James's fault that lots of his Terrier friends are appearing on the show, or is Countdown just popular in the
Huddersfield area? I think Tom would have done better it he hadn't been so nervous.

Yeah its a real shame. Had he spotted one of the correct 8s (RATIONED etc) instead of his misdeclared 8 (randiest) due to writing the wrong letters down, that alone would have been a 15 point swing in his favour, taking the final difference down to 5 points.

Current champion is good, but definitely beatable.

Yes indeed, and its notable that quite a number of members of this community come from Yorkshire. At COLIN i thought that Jack Hurst's team event could almost have been set up as Yorkshire vs the Rest of the World.

Kirk, James, Dinos, Ryan, Chris M, Phil Jarvis, Callum, myself and Im sure a fair few more come from countdown's birthplace
