Reappearing Contestants

When is a contestant reappearing and when is it someone different? There's room for a lot of errors, for, according to the wiki, there used to be two James Robinsons (before the error was corrected), but only one Priscilla Munday, but two Bill Donaldsons. How do we make sure?

Good question. On that issue I notice that the wiki still shows Sarah Taylor and Sarah Hadaway as two different people even though I thought we had established beyond reasonable doubt that it's the same person.
