Andy Naylor's up to 5 wins, the first contestant to get this far since Andy Gardner a couple weeks ago. Can he get a 6th? If he can, 99 or more will get him to number 3, 105 or more will get him to number 2, and 116 or more will get him to number 1. Of course, if he loses, he stays at number 4. We'll see what happens.

SEVRUGA is the only unusal word there, so I guess it was that, but as Nick knew it it wasn't considered unusual enough.

Yes, he seems to be getting better and better (11 maxes today I think), in contrast to some of the other players this series who tripped up almost as soon as the words "promising" or "octochamp potential" were used to describe them.

The quality of the challengers seems to have picked up this week too.

I'm not going to bother posting an alt but I was surprised by Rachel's convoluted method to 321 as if to imply there wasn't a straightforward method. I suppose if that's what she saw she couldn't be bothered to find a simpler way.

She seems to enjoy showing off by telling us there are a few ways but on rare occasions like today she gives something strangely inefficient or inelegant.

(6 x 50) + 25 - ((9-1)/2) for my 321, which is quite a long way round the houses I guess!

The 'trouble' I have with Andy is that he has more than a passing resemblance to Ben Kingsley as the evil Hood in the 2004 Thunderbirds movie! He is probably hypnotising his oppponents!
