So, Dylan has booked his place in tomorrow's grand final, but who will join him for the climax of Countdown in 2013.

This semi-final is between the #7 seed, Callum "The Tingley Tearaway" Todd and the #3 seed, Glen "The Cradley Heath Cleaver" Webb. Whether they'll want to win is probably another matter, with Mr. Taylor awaiting in the final, but we should have another good contestant, between the most-improved Countdowner, and the veteran back for his 2nd bite at the finals.

Now, time for those all important stats:

Firstly, No.7 Seed Callum "The Tingley Tearaway" Todd - 8 Wins, 855 Points. (Average: 95)
Highest Score: 114 vs. Chris Allum (7th Game)
Lowest Score: 70 vs. Ritch Greenwood (1st Game)
9's Achieved: 1/5
Total Points/Max/%: 855/1145 (75%)
Letters Points/Max/%: 488/708 (69%)
Numbers Points/Max/%: 297/347 (86%)
Conundrum Points/Max/%: 70/90 (78%)

Secondly, No.3 Seed Glen "The Cradley Heath Cleaver" Webb - 9 Wins, 1,052 Points. (Average: 116.89)
Highest Score: 141 vs. Martin Wilsdon (5th Game)
Lowest Score: 91 vs. Mike Bailey (2nd Game)
9's Achieved: 5/10
Total Points/Max/%: 1052/1221 (86%)
Letters Points/Max/%: 663/774 (86%)
Numbers Points/Max/%: 319/357 (89%)
Conundrum Points/Max/%: 70/90 (78%)

I'll be recapping for the last time this year later on. ;) :) :D  8-)

Numbers not going well today for the players.
I got 530 there ((4+2)x8+3+2)x10. Not yet done 2 away.

Unfortunately you can't cut the X in half!

Good game, well done chaps. Good match play there Callum by risking the eight also. Well done Glen on making the semis.

Well done Callum - I don't feel so bad about losing to you at COLEA now - and brave try from Glen.
Unfortunately I was stuck on OVERSITE+R when I knew you had ended round early, so narrowly lost today.

Solid performance by Callum. Made less mistakes than his opponent and a class spot of PETIOLE to close out the match.

A possible 532 is ((8 x 10) - 2 - 2) x (4 + 3). Amazing game Callum and Glen ;)

Alternate for TTT1: A. GILLARD

Another high-quality match, a bit of to-ing and fro-ing to start with, but Callum was that bit stronger in the end. Very well done to Glen for a magnificent series and a truly monumental octototal to start the trend of monumental octototals in this series.

Great fun at the end there, prompted by Callum's crowd-pleasing numbers solve.
