I am surprised someone hasn't got two of the four remaning conundrums Keep suggestions coming
I am sorry, Jason. Already had my fill of these conundrum rounds after the first or second one was posted. I think you might get more interest if you and Dinos don't post them so frequently. Also, the fact that some are not in the ODE 2r means that I don't want to even look at them in case I think it's valid when the finals are on.

Indeed. I've been doing them a few months and you've already surpassed me in quantity! And as many people have said, it is annoying when non-ODE 2r-approved ones crop up (used to be guilty of this all the time). If you don't have the current dictionary I suggest you download Countmax and check your conundrums on there before submitting them. Its really easy to use. Here's a link to the recap writer. There's a link to Countmax from there.

You are right, I did forget Dinos' words, sorry Dinos

. All of Dinos' are correct too and FRICA
SSEE, NIFTINESS and the dodgy SAINTSHIP are correct too. Sorry, but there is only 1 'L' for #09.
The last 5 letters are 'A', 'C', 'M', 'R' and 'V' and are:
02. ALMUCEJUS
09. ELECTCORE
11. FUNDCATTY
20. REAMSISIS
21. RECOVERUS
EDIT: After checking the ODE 2r, all the words are in with, except for 'A' where its not mentioned but there is a noun for the singular word so I think it can be pluralised. In my quest for perfection, I did include a plural word

.

I don't think anyone is going to get these words, so I will reveal the answers:
02. ALMUCEJUS = MAJUSCULE
09. ELECTCORE = RECTOCELE
20. REAMSISIS = AIRMISSES*
*AIRMISS is listed in the dictionary as a noun so not sure if this can be pluralised.

Not related to it in the physical sense, no, that would be a bit weird and disturbing, not to mention biologically dubious. But they have been known to eat these delicious fruits in times of low availability of the GOBEANRAT, their principal food source.
Anyway, back to the game:
06 - EFTCUPULA = TEACUPFUL

GERMANDER is right but I agree with Corby. It would be a lot more challenging for the setter if they tried to disguise words that everybody actually knows. There are some words that are hard to spot. For instance I thought BOULEVARD was an excellent conundrum because it is a word we all know and also, it contains the two red herrings of OVER and ABLE.

I think the criticism has been unfair. I think the current pace of solutions trickling in is perfect. If it was too hard, more than half would be left; if the words are any more well-known then someone who is a natural anagrammer could solve them all in one swoop, as has more or less happened before.
Keep up the good work Mr. Bolas.. don't be discouraged by the whiners!

Here is another one of my conundrum alphabets. My apologies if these conundrums have either; been repeated in this forum, shown on TV or are too easy (although I think this alphabet is more difficult than the previous one I made)
After a lot of stick from some unruly forumites, I have decided to give conundrums that are accepted by CountMax only and none from my own dictionary - which is unreliable.
