No idea, but this was released before the new dictionary came out....Michael Wallace wrote:I'd be outraged as well - SHITHEADS isn't valid.
(Is it one of the new additions?)
I imagine so, he is rather good, isn't he?Eoin Monaghan wrote:I wonder if Jack would have got this?
I played Cheryl, Danny's mum, during my octorun. Would it be the first time that 3 generations have been on the show if one of Danny's daughters goes on at some point?Ryan Taylor wrote:I had a nice surprise when I came across series 62 octochamp and his daughter in the Daily Mail today. I have nothing to go on but I'm going to just say yes. We need to introduce Saffron to apterous, she could be the only hope for a female series winner.Adam Gillard wrote:I played Cheryl, Danny's mum, during my octorun. Well, they were aimed at a 3 year old's comprehension level.Jon Corby wrote:lol at the Mensa sample questions.
Yup, typical tabloid drivel.Jennifer Steadman wrote:Standard hard-hitting journalism from the Daily Mail website.

Naturally I expected the article to be drivel, but still semi-surprised to see an obvious grammatical error. Don't newspapers employ sub-editors any more? That article wrote:the blockbuster hit was released in 1998 and made $13,740,644 (£8,582,187.63) in it's opening weekend.
That's an awesomely accurate $-£ conversion as well. I assume US cinemas only charge whole dollar amounts for tickets, or it was just really lucky that it came to a nice round number. I wonder if that was the exchange rate in 1998 as well that weekend? Fascinating stuff.JimBentley wrote:Jennifer Steadman wrote:Standard hard-hitting journalism from the Daily Mail website.Naturally I expected the article to be drivel, but still semi-surprised to see an obvious grammatical error. Notice also that it said that Jack declared F**KFACE, not S**TFACE.Eoin Monaghan wrote:This too: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... shock.html

Why does your statement make the Beeb's untrue? (As it happens, both are true.)Lee Kelly wrote:"It is not the first time the word has appeared on the Countdown board - having cropped up in plural form in 2008, when it was also bleeped out. "
just after reading this,, but im nearly certain that dave from ed mc cullaghs season had the same word bleeped out! think the media has got their facts wrong!
No, you said the BBC had "got their facts wrong". They didn't.Lee Kelly wrote:ano but im just saying that it happened more recently than what they had said
Tbf Auntie describes ERECTION and BASTARDS as being risqué, which is wrong. It's all about context, innit?Phil Reynolds wrote:No, you said the BBC had "got their facts wrong". They didn't.Lee Kelly wrote:ano but im just saying that it happened more recently than what they had said
Cool! Congratulations Kirk. Enjoy the holiday!Chris Marshall wrote:http://bdodarts.fantasyleague.com/

Haha, very goodGraeme Cole wrote:"Here’s a quiz question for Countdown fans: The letters shown in Kirk’s photograph scored him 9 points."Michael Wallace wrote:I think Gevin must have written that, 9 points for REEDLINGS, eh?
Technically the correct answer to their quiz question is "false".
Am I being stupid, or have you all noticed that bar the headline at the top, it says Kevin Bevins, rather than Kirk Bevins. ( / / )Matt Morrison wrote:If you didn't see this, you need to see this.
I had 2 teams which did rubbish as I only really know about PDC darts but gotta be in it to win it. Someone I know won a daily prize but well done you on the big one.Kirk Bevins wrote:How did you come across this?Chris Marshall wrote:http://bdodarts.fantasyleague.com/

Awesome. The PDC ought to do one next year...it was great fun. I won the daily prize from Thursday to Sunday as everyone I had won their game so I actually won 2 dartboards and 2 sets of darts on top of the holiday and cash. Sweet.Chris Marshall wrote:

How many quids did they place?Chris Philpot wrote:Keep meaning to congratulate you on your success, Kirk. The only person I know who did better from Kist's victory had heard of his Dutch dominance and placed a few quid on him to win - at 66/1.
Yeah I was tempted but I didn't think he'd win it. Jan Dekker is a class act too and Kist was 11/8 to beat him and I put £8 on and just won the £19. I knew Kist was mint (saw him at the Masters on ESPN) but honestly didn't think he'd win the title. Wish I'd stuck a tenner on him now at 66/1Chris Philpot wrote:Keep meaning to congratulate you on your success, Kirk. Not entirely certain, but I think it was somewhere in the region of £10–20. Certainly a nice little earner, either way.Jon Corby wrote:How many quids did they place?
