Malcolm and Charlie, enjoy your day of doing something special on your birthday (or in Charlie's case kicking the apterous server until it works all day). :D

Happy Birthday to Charlie Reams and Malcolm Williams, and also to whichever Chris that Ben is referring to! :)

Charlie, you're just under a year younger than my eldest son - Alex who you met at CoLin 2009. 8-)

Unfortuantely Sue hasn't logged on for over a month so is unlikely to see her birthday wishes.

You never know. I often read posts without logging in. It's only the apterous topic area you can't see as a guest.

That must be a pain. How do you keep track of which posts you've read?

I generally remember a subject heading as one I've read or not. Then I see if there's been a post since I last looked.
Not difficult, since they get bumped up the list if there's been a new post.

That sounds like a pain in the arse. Does the "Keep me logged in" feature not work for you?

Kai and Julie: are you using http://www.c4countdown.co.uk or http://c4countdown.co.uk? The latter doesn't keep you logged in.

The second one. I'm really not bothered, though! Thanks for caring! 8-)
I don't like staying logged into things, as I have young children who might unintentionally feck things up.

It always works for me on Firefox, and never on I.E. When I'm at uni, if I change page then come back, I have to log in again.

I think that Kai probably meant:

memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=443

who's on the birthdays reminder thingy today.

Similarly to Sue, who I wished a Happy Birthday a while ago, this Steve hasn't been on the forum for a while, so probably won't see this.
Happy Birthday, anyway, wherever you are! :)

I'm sending you this special wish
On this your special day
To let you know we think of you
In a very special way

Happy Birthday Son

Saw this birthday card in Asda today for 92p and thought it was quite expensive so I thought why not remember the rhyme, copy it on here then you can look at it for weeks to come, not like the card which would have been ditched after a week on display!

So have a great day Jon
Your Dad

I ask because I've talked to you and Kate a lot, and asking you makes perfect sense.
