Will Michael the Fifth take his place on the octochamp throne by 4:10 this afternoon, or face beheading by today's challenger.

A win will see him take 5th place in the rankings, but a win of over 113 will see him topple Tom and get up into 4th place. And if he loses, a score of 44 will see him jump over Peter Godwin.

He actually only needs 112 or more to pass Tom, and a loss when scoring 43 to pass Peter, cos he's got a better highest score.

You've forgotten to add that he can still achieve number one position, but that would require nines in all eleven letters rounds, together with ten points from each numbers game and the conundrum.
