Likes are working fine in Pro-Silver for me man.
They're not working for me :!: Why has Charlie banned my account from using Likes :?: :(

For me there seem to be three things wrong since returning from last week away, and I've seen two of them mentioned here.

I'm unable to vote in polls.
View active topics only gives a small number of recently updated topics.
Likes don't work.

I've tired some of these using a variety of browsers, and there seems to be no difference.

On the other hand, I no longer have to login every time I try to access the forum.

---------------

After switching skins, voting in polls is allowed, but view active topics and likes are still a problem.

On the second point, the forum just appears to be in a quiet phase at the moment.

But there are definitely threads which have been updated or created in the last couple of days which don't appear in the list I get, yesterday's spoiler thread and yesterday's recap to name just two.

I actually really miss when the no-new-posts-in-this-thread icon was missing. So much easier to read :(

What the fuck is wrong with you? How the fuck is it easier to instantly differentiate between two of the same icons in different colours, and an icon and no icon at all? Sort yourself the fuck out.

I really don't miss the time when the no-new-posts-in-this-thread icon was missing. I agree that it was probably easier to read back then.

I always use 'view new posts' and so far, two posts just won't go for some length of time. Clive Brooker's return appeared on it about twenty times, and now Robbo's arrival in Leicester keeps popping up on there. Puzzling!

{ GRATITUDES }
{ GIVEN }: { THANKS }
{ RECEIVED }: { THANKS }
I've just noticed that this appears below the display of anyone's profile. Any idea what it means? And is it another by-product of the server upgrade?

(only in AeroGreen, though)

It's clearly a likes thing, but as likes aren't working the actual stats are just being replaced with confusing variable names for variables that haven't been set. Bloody likes.

Also, anyone else notice with the new phpBB version when you apply styles to a selection when writing a post the text selection is retained? It's fucking brilliant.

You select a bit of your text, because you want to make it bold AND italic.
OLD: Select it, press bold button. It gets deselected, so you have to manually select it all and then press the italic button.
NEW: Select it, press bold button. It stays selected, press italic button. Press font colour, URL, size, whatever, it stays selected. Great time saver.

Ah right cheers. I'm guessing I don't get this because I use the greeny bluey one and not the phpBB one?

I'd be genuinely surprised if it made a difference, but apparently according to your surprise I ought to be very surprised. Here is my very surprised face: :o
