Spoilers For Tuesday September 14th 2010
So, Daniel breezed through Brenda yesterday and now has the chance to become the 3rd octochamp of this series, meaning that we'll have already surpassed the total for the last series, with about more than half the series still to go
Still, will he stopped or will he romp home to the top of the board. A win with a score of 64 will do for Daniel.
Ryan will be recapping later.

Congrats - an excellent run. Poor conundrum scramble though - SHIRTLOST (just swap two letters) - LOSTSHIRT would have been slightly better. Anyway fantastic run once again.

Forgot to say, NECROPSY was a superb spot by DC.

Another battle of apterites today - shame George was only a trial member, I'm sure he could have got quite good as playing ECOTAGE over COURAGE showed.

Congratulations to Daniel on a great run of games.
Did I detect a gradual increase of confidence and a steady relaxing?
Very well done Daniel.

Very well done Daniel. Thoroughly deserved octochamp status.
2nd Numbers Alt.: ((50 + 3) x (8 + 1)) - 4 - 3 = 470
Now let's see what Master Monaghan can come up with.

Re: Spoilers For Tuesday September 14th 2010
Oh thank you for all the congrats! I'm very proud of myself too. It's mad having watched something for so long and now to be part of its history.
Was a bit frustrating seeing all the easy letters and (especially) numbers rounds I missed though. But that's the thing about having to play so many games in a row in front of studio lights - your brain turns to mush by the end! Numbers games are a lot harder for some reason, and conundrums are easier, because the adrenalin seems to kickstart something in you. That was my experience anyway.
The first game I felt physically sick to be there, but by the end, I was genuinely looking forward to my next game. Bit of a cliché to say but Jeff, Susie, Rachel, Damian and all the staff were lovely to me and made me feel very comfortable. There's also a warm up comedian who is side-splittlingly hilarious. (Some of this may or may not be true.)
So yes, if anyone is considering going on the show, please do, I had a great time. And best of luck to the charming young scamp ahead of me…

Re: Spoilers For Tuesday September 14th 2010
Not at all - a few people claim that their experience was less than enjoyable, partly because some of these people didn't take times out of their busy schedules to say hello etc. I also found everyone to be superb and it's reassuring to everyone (and the names involved) that they made you feel comfortable and have a great time.Daniel Pati wrote:Bit of a cliché to say but Jeff, Susie, Rachel, Damian and all the staff were lovely to me and made me feel very comfortable.
