Spoilers For Friday September 3rd 2010

Post by James Robinson »

Well, the mood on the forum is noticably down after yesterday's sad departure of Peter Godwin, not as an octochamp, but as a 7-timer. :(

Meaning that Forum Enemy #1, Lee Palmer is in the champions' chair. I think we all hope that Lee gets stuffed by someone from Apterous, then that should brighten up our day. ;) :) :D

Especially as it might come down a great deal if England lose to Bulgaria tonight. :(

Mike will along with the recap tomorrow probably. :D

I wasn't mad at Lee for winning, I was just hugely disappointed by Peter. I was left feeling empty.

A bit like Badcock after Peter lost his right to make sweet octochamp love to her.

I wonder how many people in the world have had sex with an octochamp. (Bearing in mind it doesn't count if they had sex with them before they became a massive Countdown nerd.)

I'm sure we could get in touch with all of them and find out how many each octo has banged. Problem is people who've slept with more than one octochamp.

I'd presume this was some kind of masturbation joke but your use of such a small number just makes it frankly impossible.

Cue the return of a Jeffrey Burgin post. (and Ralph Gillions no doubt)

I've only just realised that that thread title implies there's some sort of fisting going on

I was personally worrying about the fatigue factor. I can't really answer having got nowhere near close to being an octochamp, but how drained do you become when doing an 8th show :?:

Just thinking about the schedule probability, Peter must have done his 8 shows in a period of not much longer than 24 hours.

Would you include octochamps having sex with themselves in this count?

Octochamp right? Keeping it real for the SEO massive.

Last time I took notice of Daniel he was around 1100-1200 ish I think. He rolls on 1500s now and his performances are great.

Pretty surprising fuck up on the last numbers then, all things considered.
Technically honest too, considering that 100x2 still gave several options for finishing it off, like adding 6*(3-1) before multiplying by the other 2.

All told good then. I'll stick on the octochamp prediction, depending on forthcoming apterites of course.

Quality debut, Daniel. I was impressed by your apterous performances and you've taken it to the big stage too. Well done.

Hey

Thanks for the kind words. I'm honestly not that serious in real life! It must have just been nerves. And yes, everyone took the piss that I looked like an old man doing a crossword. I think I need glasses.

Hope this isn't spoilerific but something quite funny happens on Monday's episode. Well funny to me, as I have the mind of a 12 year old schoolboy.

Hi Daniel :) Glad you finally joined.

I thought you were brilliant today and my dad came in the room and asked if that was your first show, I told him it was and he said you seemed very confident.

Hopefully you can emulate today's success and go on and win the 8! :)

I don't wanna take the piss Eoin, but you make all that fuss about the spoiler James posted and then you go and make a post of your own that clearly refers to the result of at least your first show? I mean, seriously!?

For fuck's sake. I didn't want to read about Monday's spoilers in the Friday spoiler thread.

Okay, edited. However, I didn't think it was very spoilery as it doesn't really give any result away.

My very strong advice to people who've seen anything that hasn't yet been broadcast is: shut the fuck up. It's much easier to spoiler people (or make them think they've been spoilered) than you think. Just don't say anything. Seriously.

Not quite.

A few weeks ago I was on Apterous playing a match and it was against the person who is going to be challenger this coming Monday (he just told me straight away that he was). He said he played against a guy called Dan who told him about Apterous, so I tried to work out which Dan it was. After trying to remember as many as possible, I still had no joy, mainly because I didn't think about lengthening Dan to Daniel.

Then a couple of weeks later, someone on Apterous said that Daniel was on the show soon, but I had not enough proof to justify saying if he was on or not.

Didn't you think to ask this challenger on Monday what Daniel's surname was. It's only 4 pissing letters long!!!

But James didn't know it was only four letters long, so didn't think to ask what his surname was.
