Spoilers For Monday August 9th 2010
WAHEY Countdown has returned to normality. If only for a week, before the horses interrupt us again.
Still, it's been 17 days since the last preliminary of Series 63, so a little catch-up seems to be in order I think.
Our returning 2-time champion is our very own Tom Rowell, who has 2 90's scores at the moment. Can he reach 3 figures today
In DC, is yet another new face, but one who is probably recognisable to just about everyone in this country, with the exception of those who don't watch Coronation Street, as this week's guest is none other than Mr. Ken Barlow himself, William Roache. 50 years he has been on the cobbles of Weatherfield. Hopefully Countdown will reach it's golden anniversary in 22 years time.
So, that's me done for now. Ryan (or maybe if we're lucky, Rihanna) will be along with the recap later.

Wife and I beat DC 3 times with indexers, starriest and dykiest - if they are words, that is !
My spell checker does not like dykiest but dykey is a dictionary adjective.

Good to see the show return, if only for a week (damn them horses!)
Hopefully we get to see the eagerly anticipated Champion of Champions series after this current run, the recent Mastermind C of C was excellent TV viewing.

Re: Spoilers For Monday August 9th 2010
Neither are valid on Countdown. I think the reason the plural is still accepted on Lexplorer is because they were taken out when ODE2r came out (having been in the previous edition), but only one got removed when the difference was realised.
