Following yesterday's result, we now have the full line-up for the finals confirmed, so the question to be asked now is Who will be the carryover champion for Series 63

Will it be our new champ, Scott Gillies, who performed brilliantly yesterday to dethrone Dominic, the 5-time champ.

Scott's back down in Manchester for a Stag Weekend, and they were all in a pub watching the show. He'll be taking a bit of stick from his mates, not many of whom (if any) are Countdown fanatics like Scott.

A pretty convincing win, but even I spotted 'equation', 'impedance' and 'aphorise' which he didn't. He'll need to buck up his ideas for Monday!

Only just got around to reading this thread from yesterday. I agree with you Mark Kudlowski, all a matter of taste I suppose but I find Jo Brand a complete waste of space and why she still appears on our favourite programme I fail to understand. She obviously thinks she's funny since she always laughs at her own jokes. Since I always record the show and fast forward through guests' bit (unless it's someone I know I would like) and adverts, I wouldn't know what JG said, but sounds as though I didn't miss anything.
