Spoilers For Friday May 21st 2010

Post by James Robinson »

The hot, sunny weather seems to be brightening our spirits, if not dehydrating us at the same time, but that's not the only bright thing that's around at the moment. ;)

The other is Danny Pledger, now a 5-time champion. A win today should put him one step in the finals, and following it with a win on Monday will guarantee him that place. But, how many times has that been said so far this series :?:

In other news, it's now less than 24 hours to go to Co:Lon 2010 and I hope like me, the other 29 competitors are all ready for the off, and are just as excited as I am at being at the competition tomorrow. ;) :) :D  8-)

Right, I'll sign off now. Mike will be along with the recap in due course.

I had already switched off, so didn't see that. Is it my imagination, or does Rachel either get, or get the chance to show, solutions to numbers games out of time far more often than Carol did? Initially I thought it was because the production team wanted to give her every chance to show she had solved it, knowing that there were people waiting to jump on her, but we're way past that stage now.

I dunno, maybe. But it's good so that the viewers can see how its done even if not in the 30 seconds. Especially with one like that which I think only had 1 solution.

Are we? Still we have several people jumping on her, calling her crap, la la la. If only they knew...

Without wishing to sound anti-Carol, surely the most likely possibility is that she simply didn't solve them? Not necessarily that she couldn't, but just couldn't be arsed after 20-odd years of doing it whereas maybe Rachel still wants to prove herself.
