Spoilers For Wednesday April 7th 2010
The middle of the week comes round again, and Peter Zyss is still the champ, and has the chance to break into the top 8 today, and by this time next week, could even book his place in the finals.
It does seem amazing to think that we've already passed the half-way mark this series, but there you go. Still only one octochamp on the board, but surely that'll change soon, or will it

HOMAGE is actually specified as a count noun in another sense so there needn't have been any risky mass noun decisions.

I think that DIURNAL was there in R7.
I'm enjoying Peter's run and his solid play. And the bonus of a Peter Purves-style collar on the shirt today. I didn't think we'd see those again.
EDIT - I just noticed that this was the 15,000th post in the spoliers forum. At least I wasn't staring at a milometer rather than the road wanting to see all zeros come up. Not that I'd do anything silly like that. Well, not very often ... only every 10,000miles.

Anglo Italian on Apterous is called Simon. Daniel plays under his own name - but I haven't seen him on for a while. (funny how coming onto this site makes people pedantic)

I never get any pleasure in doing it, James. It's just one of my functions that I can't stop.james doohan wrote:Was only pointing out your mistake James, same as you get such pleasure in doing, don't need daft characters for thatJames Robinson wrote:Where's your , or if you don't like smilies, !, Jamesjames doohan wrote:You said my instead of by James, fucking disgraceful, how dare you make a mistake
Interestingly, did anyone think that Rachel jinxed Peter in the 2nd numbers game To me, it looked like that after Peter gave the first part of his method and then Rachel gave that look of "You've done it wrong, haven't you?" at him, almost making it look like that he just gave up on the numbers, whereas if he did (3 + 3) x 25, and added it to the 370 he had, that would've given him the answer.
UNTASTED in round 8 and ARISTOS in round 11.
1st Numbers Alt.: (25 x 10) - 100 + 7 + 6 = 163
There was no N in the selection, Brian. 6 was the best.Brian Moore wrote:I think that DIURNAL was there in R7.

Do you mean he actually went wrong and did the right thing of admitting he'd made a mistake rather than try to fudge it?James Robinson wrote: Interestingly, did anyone think that Rachel jinxed Peter in the 2nd numbers game To me, it looked like that after Peter gave the first part of his method and then Rachel gave that look of "You've done it wrong, haven't you?" at him, almost making it look like that he just gave up on the numbers, whereas if he did (3 + 3) x 25, and added it to the 370 he had, that would've given him the answer.
