End of S4C repeats?
With the completion of the digital switchover in Wales next week, it seems that the extra repeat of Countdown on S4C, which for many years has been anything between one day and a couple of weeks after the Channel 4 transmission, will be coming to an end.
With the More4 repeat also having being dropped recently, that now leaves the early morning repeat on Channel 4 (together with 4oD) being the only opportunity to catch a programme which is missed on first transmission at 3:25 (or 4:25 on C4+1).
Sad. (Or maybe it's just me who's sad for even noticing.)

Maybe sad, although I was looking at today's C4 listings in The Sun, and it seemed to suggest that today's Countdown at 3:25pm was going to be a REPEAT.Howard Somerset wrote:Sad. (Or maybe it's just me who's sad for even noticing.)
Surely that's not true, is it

Crap! Never even knew there was one in the first place, have only ever watched about ten seconds of S4C.Howard Somerset wrote:With the completion of the digital switchover in Wales next week, it seems that the extra repeat of Countdown on S4C, which for many years has been anything between one day and a couple of weeks after the Channel 4 transmission, will be coming to an end.

I don't blame you David. I've never found anything worth watching, apart from Countdown before the days of 4oD, and the occasional football game which wasn't being shown on English TV.David O'Donnell wrote:... have only ever watched about ten seconds of S4C.

But it's only a small minority of people who actually watch S4C. The vast majority of people in Wales choose to watch Channel 4 instead. Many programmes are officially deemed to have no viewers.

WTF? Howard has stated there is 4oD so I don't see the point of this post.Alec Rivers wrote:4oD

Another thread he hasn't actually read but feels qualified to comment upon; he'll probably just go into denial mode again though.Kirk Bevins wrote:WTF? Howard has stated there is 4oD so I don't see the point of this post.Alec Rivers wrote:4oD
