Breakfast. I'll also miss dinner because I'm going to be working, man I'm hungry. About the show, I missed loads which I'm blaming on the hunger! Did get the last numbers and conundrum though.

It's not so much that it looks smug (unless it's really, really easy), but it can help the opponent knowing that it's possible. It applies even more to letters games, where doing this after 5-seconds tells your opponent that there's a 9. It's rather like when my dad looked over my shoulder when I was doing a crossword. It was uncanny the number of times that he said something like 'Got 9 down' or '17 across is easy' and as soon as I looked at the clue again, I got it. If an opponent knows a 9 is three, s/he may well spot it, when s/he might not have done if s/he had not been tipped off.
Douglas was clearly at the recordings because Jimmy came to the studios in his pyjamas and demanded he wore them on TV. They said no and had to provide him with some shirts from the wardrobe department.

Heh. Couple of fans around here anyway i'm aware. Haven't caught up past Tuesday's show yet. Best of luck on Wednesday
Oh by the way... i got Racist in round 6 in case anyone missed that. The patriot in me smiled at IRE and GAEL being the first 3 and 4 letters out of consecutive early rounds too. I also think it's fair enough for a contestant to sit back when they have the numbers. It's a part of the show i remember from the early days, when i'd be furiously calculating with sight of a happily calm, blank/smiling faced contestant adding a mixture of hope and pressure! Honesty shouldn't be criticised. That said, if i got a nine i'd probably keep my head down!
