Game of the Week Noms: 23 - 29 Nov
Reuben Kay gets the first Omelette Numbers Attack max game. Very impressive.
PS Is Ian actually still doing this?

I'm afraid under Ian's regime you can't do that. So I'll nominate it for you.Kirk Bevins wrote:I'd like to nominate my own game.

Rubbish. It'd be much better if it was a letters attack.Charlie Reams wrote:I'm afraid under Ian's regime you can't do that. So I'll nominate it for you.Kirk Bevins wrote:I'd like to nominate my own game.

The question is: Did Ben get anything in the inventory for five 9's in a row?!?!?!

3 ambulances. I was thinking of suggesting something for 4 nines in a row, maybe an 'Angry German' (nein! nein! nein! nein! etc), but then I thought 'nah, no one will ever get something like that'. Oh well.Darren Carter wrote:Ahem!

Haha. In Texas Hold 'Em, two nines is sometimes called German Virgin.Ben Wilson wrote: 3 ambulances. I was thinking of suggesting something for 4 nines in a row, maybe an 'Angry German' (nein! nein! nein! nein! etc), but then I thought 'nah, no one will ever get something like that'. Oh well.

I love the new system. Self-fradulation is allowed now for sure.

Is this volte-face by any chance related to the fact that you have in fact nominated yourself?Ian Dent wrote:I love the new system. Self-fradulation is allowed now for sure.

I didn't really mean to do that. Was just testing it out. Wasn't a great game really.
Re: Game of the Week Noms: 23 - 29 Nov
Are multiple nominations going to be used as a means of voting?
Could be quite apterous based, which is nice.

Re: Game of the Week Noms: 23 - 29 Nov
I'm not sure if that's a good idea. One may be deterred from nominating a game they think deserves mention but is not their favourite. It also favours games played earlier in the week as they have more opportunities to gain nominations. I don't think there's anything wrong with the final vote being apterous based, but it should be kept separate from the nominations.Ian Dent wrote:Are multiple nominations going to be used as a means of voting?

Great game, 2 nines and a missed one. Aswell as 11 maxes each.

Ian, it's not a competition to see who can nominate the most games you know!

Yep. The voting will take place on the site but will be separate from the number of nominations.Simon Myers wrote:I'm not sure if that's a good idea.
