Yea ZEMINDAR for round 2 is a nice one, well other than it being a tax collector in India.

Re: Spoilers for Friday 26th June
I'm guessing the crew were a bit sleepy by the time this was filmed.
Anyway fairly unremarkable one-sided game otherwise.

Ahh shit. DOSIEST should have been disallowed, can't believe myself, Susie and the team missed this.
As for the GAMET board-shot, this was an editorial error. Not our finest hour by an means on this particular show. Majorly pissed-off.

I went for DOSIEST too.D Eadie wrote:Ahh shit. DOSIEST should have been disallowed, can't believe myself, Susie and the team missed this.
Now it's being disallowed, I only got 95, instead of 102.
Re: Spoilers for Friday 26th June
I noticed Rachel only put up 8 letters in one of the rounds as well, and the bulbs had gone on about 5 segments of the clock. Innis' biro was leaking everywhere too.
Shoddy.

What must make it worse is that there is such a large diverse community of highly-functioning members of society who would notice or care about these errors.D Eadie wrote:Ahh shit. DOSIEST should have been disallowed, can't believe myself, Susie and the team missed this.

That was sarcasm BTW.
If I suddenly have a squirming baby on my lap it probably means that I should start paying it some attention and stop wasting my time messing around on a Countdown forum

Re: Spoilers for Friday 26th June
I was pleased with ZEMINDAR and SLIDABLE but I was truly trumped with the speed of the conundrum and SPHERULE. Best word of series 61...so far. Just managed to stay ahead 101-97 but I'm in an armchair and I'll be shit in a studio etc...

The look of sheer glee on Innis' face when he gets a good word (spherule=awesome) or the conundrum is fantastic. Many more to come, I'm sure!

Re: Spoilers for Friday 26th June
In the ANODISER round, when the other guy declared 9 I thought "I bet he's spelt it wrong" - I wondered if Innis was thinking the same thing when he declared 8 (if I were in that position I don't think I'd manage to keep a straight face as I panicked about what 9 I'd missed).

Re: Spoilers for Friday 26th June
Damn, thought I'd done great to get PATRIATE and SLIDABLE, only to have my hopes dashed as I rushed to the comp having watched it today to post my finds.
I noticed the DOSIEST thing as well, but assumed it could be spelt with an s as well.

Re: Spoilers for Friday 26th June
Well played so far. It would be a good week for Scotland if you become an octochamp and Andy Murray wins the tennis.
