Actually I got 0 out of 22. I finally looked up the answers to the remaining ones and some of them are f*cking hard. As pointed out in a previous post, I'm actually rubbish at anagramming all I can do is remember words I've already seen.

Out of interest, I anagrammed ACEPTARMIGAN too and if anyone gets that, then very well done.

To be honest I didnt think ACEPTARMIGAN was that tricky when I made it, but then I am a chemist  Its not some obscure compound name, but if anyone (that hasn't already cheated) wants a clue: Its an easy 8 letter word with a four letter prefix

Purely on the basis that it's a chemistry term I'll have a guess with MANGAPICRATE^.

Edit: Had you gave the hint as physics then my guess would have been PARAMAGNETIC (or ornithology, ACE-PTARMIGAN).

Re: 11 letter Hyperconundrum alphabet

Post by JasonCullen »

I thought I would do one of these beasts for a change. Here are 23 eleven letter words for the forum to solve :D . Apologies if these have been done before on the forum or have been done at a Countdown competition. There are no anagrams for the letters X,Y and Z.

N.B. As soon as this alphabet is finished, another hyperconundrum alphabet will be revealed shortly afterwards. So time is of the essence ;) .

Also, I don't want any show ponies so please restrain yourself to no more than 5 conundrums maximum until the quota has been lifted

1. UANOINTLOCI
2. NURDEDBIRTH
3. MMNNEEEJBAT
4. ENTIREWHACK
5. RADOMEDBLOW
6. BALMYRATION
7. SHITTYLIARS
8. TRACKBARQUE
9. SPANKMEOOWS
10. ENUDEREVOLT
11. ECLICKSTAND
12. GUNSHANTIES
13. ODDFUNDBUME
14. RAFTERGERIE
15. PIFTGRINNER
16. TRYOVERSOBA

18. NEATPROTEIN
19. TELTHIGHWIG
20. EMOTEGARLIC
21. AIRGRIMACES
22. CAYNUTRIENT
23. DEODARJIPES

Enjoy and I hope they are not too hard ;)

Well done Joseph :) . Your five attempts are correct.

Its officially Sunday afternoon, am I allowed out of the stables yet? I'll start at a trot before galloping off and solving them all.

I thought you said you could do all but three of them Dinos  ? Feel free to do the rest tomorrow afternoon if you want :D

So anyone who wants to offer some suggestions do it rapidly before Dinos steals most of the credit.

The quota ban has been officially lifted (except for Dinos for now  )

I can. In fact I've now got them all except BALMYRATION. I was showing some self-restraint and thought I'd leave a couple for others to solve, esp Doddy and Joseph if they had a few more.

I will just add two more, like Dinos, to give someone else a go:

KITCHENWARE and CANDLESTICK.
