RIP Peter Mabey

Post by Gavin Chipper »

I'd noticed that Peter Mabey had not been on the forum for a while (last active on 13th June 2024). I'd Googled him before but nothing came up. But today I found a couple of obituaries, here and here.

Peter had been a member of this forum since near the beginning in 2008, and was known for his numbers solves involving factorisation. He was 98 when he died and was born one month before Queen Elizabeth II.

RIP Peter- a good innings. Can remember his posts on here and thinking how sharp he was for his years.
