Can't stand the man, let alone the show, it was bad enough with Noel Edmonds and I can't see it can be any better with Mulhern at the helm!
I thought I was good at Countdown until I joined this forum

Not sure what ITV were thinking here - everyone got bored with the original version, so ITV bring it back virtually identically apart from having a less popular host and smaller prizes? Can't see this lasting very long before the axe falls.

It’ll carry on until just after the jackpot is won. Definitely needs higher prize money to keep people hooked. But the format is still in tact. The original was great initially but it got overexposed and too pantomime, and the Box 23 game was awful. I do think big money game shows should be an occasional thing.

The addition of an extra offer at 3-box is good. The reduced prizes, not so good. Most of the time people didn't win 5 figures anyway.
