I know of UPDATION from my Indian colleagues. Essentially, the pattern of other verbs ending in -ATE has been applied, although the morpheme is actually DATE.

But ... "we would normally call it UPDATING, as a noun"? Really? My experience is that the noun is normally UPDATE.
