Have we got a thread for that?

AKA questions for Gavin

Do we have a thread for "people you thought probably died years ago but are still alive"

(in this case, Jimmy Carter)

Goodness me, every other month it happens.
Burt Bacharach recently though he has died now. Basically every famous person who hasn't been working.
You could put this in the Mandela effect thread.
Or have I just imagined that.

Pretty sure I read that he'd died years ago and then I checked later and he was magically back alive.

I have noticed since this thread began, nearly every day someone dies that I previously thought was already dead

You'll have to been born before 1970 to remember him, but Freddie "Parrot Face" Davies is still alive, and still working, apparently.

Arthur Scargill, 85yo.... I always assumed he was much older when he was leader of the NUM.

Also, Boris Spassky*,86yo, former World Chess Champion, who was defeated by Bobby Fischer in 1972.
