Wasn't really 'erroneously' - fungate is valid - she just didn't offer it when it would have been logical to.

Yeah, this. It's not an "error" for DC to miss a max.

Also, I don't understand the comment about the lighting. Am I missing something? To me it looks just the same as always.

The lighting definitely looks a bit brighter, hazier and washier (especially on the clock) for this filming block compared to the previous episode – how bright probably depends on your TV settings. But I noticed it almost immediately. Someone else thought it was overlit in some filming blocks too.

In some previous filming blocks this year, my eagle eyes could notice graining on the numbers cards because the lighting was high.

Just reviewing the recent shows and I can definitely see a cloudier, hazier outlines and backdrop (the clock, especially, looks greyer and less blue). I liked it how it was before when it waa more blue and a bit more shadowy. And I would have made sure I said FUNGATED personally, because the aim is still to find the longest word. To be told I don’t know what I’m talking about is a bit demoralising.

But warning: I have eagled-eyed attention to detail, just a trait in me.

I hadn't noticed it but I wouldn't bet against Philip in a case like this.
