Hey everyone,
This may sound like a very silly question, but is it still OED countdown use or Lexico?
I’m curious, because on the “Oxford Dictionary of English” app on my phone, not all words seem to come up when I search for it. I tried MORITAS for example, it doesn’t show but still shows on Apterous and Lexico. There was a word that could see on Apterous, not on the OED app and that Susie found on the show today.
I’m just curious incase the app is not the best version of OED.

Sorry Been a while since I last posted on here! I’ve edited the post so hopefully now hidden. Stupid me.
Re: The dictionary
The show uses ODO - Oxford dictionary online. Lexico is the free version which is good enough for most of our purposes.
ODO is different (much smaller) to OED.
I understand that where there are differences in the premium version and lexico, they will also check lexico.
