Favourite alcoholic cocktail or drink

Post by Marc Meakin »

It's been a long time since I've drunk any cocktails in a pub or club ( 20 + years ) but I was rather partial to a White Russian , although I used to drink a Bloody Mary for a few years until some dozy barman put loads of Tabasco sauce instead of Worcester sauce in it

Can't get my head round "cocktail or drink". Is a cocktail not classed as a drink?

My personal Microsoft paperclip does it again.

It has to be an "Absolut Chambull" (pronounced "absolute shamble"), which is one shot vodka ("absolut"), one shot champagne or whatever sparkle you can lay your hands on ("cham"), and Red Bull as the mixer ("Bull").

Expensive, but guaranteed to get you sloshed.

This is a brilliant comeback and I can't wait to use it on someone in real life.

Gin and tonic is the drink for all occasions. Any gin is probably fine but a poor tonic will ruin the whole thing. Be particularly wary of the places that give you tonic from the coke tap.
