Hi There,
I’m thinking about hosting an event in Glasgow in 2021 however I’m stuck for format ideas please let me know what you think and indeed if you’re interested, I’m looking for venues.
EDIT: This is only in vauge planning.
LATEST UPDATE: I need format ideas I want to know what you think???

Re: CoGlasgow 2021???
Hi Martin, I have a few questions.
1. Have you been to an event before? If not then you ought to do that before thinking of organising one, to get an idea of how they work and what's involved in running them.
2. The two basic formats are Lincoln-style (also known as Edinburgh) and Bristol-style. Which one were you thinking of doing? The two styles have completely different requirements regarding equipment and preparation.
3. Are you Ashton Hancock?

1. I’m only vaguely considering it, I’m going to CoNuT and Co:Lon
2. If I do it I think Bristol Style.
3. Lol.....certainly not......

I love the way you came straight out with it. I mean, it's just a standard question for all potential co-event hosts.

Re: CoGlasgow 2021???
Just to answer your 2nd question in a bit more detail, I think I might use Bristol due to it been easier to host (according to James anyway), but I think CoGlas used LS and I can’t change that for revival can I??. I think I prefer LS anyway as you have more control.Graeme Cole wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 1:04 pm Hi Martin, I have a few questions.

Re: CoGlasgow 2021???
Shettleston Community Centre is a potential venue I’ve spoken to them this morning (whilst on the train from London to Manchester) and they want 45 pound an hour I’m going to see if there is a cheeper venue, I don’t know if I’m doing it yet or not (It’s 50/50) hopefully I’ll be making an announcement either way in the next 2/3 months.
LATEST UPDATE: I might well look at a venue that Innis Carson has recommended to me.
LATEST UPDATE (2): I have contacted the venue and I think I have made a decision, watch this space!!!!!

What do you think that word means, Martin? You seem to be good at casually dropping inappropriate erections into conversations.Martin Peters wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 10:53 am LATEST ERECTION: I might well look at a venue that Innis Carson has recommended to me.

Re: CoGlasgow 2021???
It is a synonym for creation with a ruder meaning but I don’t mean it like that I mean the traditional meaning, which is not wrong however I will change it.Fiona T wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 7:48 pmWhat do you think that word means, Martin?
