Real shame someone had to lose- guess I was not so accurate thinking that Harry would get 8, but even if Kevin had not got the conundrum his performance was still definitely strong enough for me to think that it was realistic. Fab prelim game as Brett stated- I'd say at least on a similar calibre as a semi final one- one of the best I have watched. Nevertheless, Kevin played really well too- would not surprise me if he got 8 himself....

MINOTAURS was quite obvious in round 1. I figured that it's probably capitalised, and indeed it seems to be according to Lexico. But I'm sure many would have been tempted to go for it!
That said, some online dictionaries including Wiktionary have it in lowercase.

Also 'minotaurs' is acceptable in Scrabble, as referring to the minotaur beetle.

In the days when the London Underground still employed guards on their trains, the guard would shout "Minotaurs" at each station once they thought all the passengers had finished getting off and on.
