Hey, I can do this! Sorry if I shouldn't
Just wanted to say 'mumbler' in one of the rounds.

Can't make out what you're saying - can you speak more clearly?

ENSILAGES in Round 10.
Countdown has finally gone green by dropping the usage of paper (At long last!) and going with a permanent whiteboard!

A question which may be more suitable in the "Ask Graeme" section- but what is the longest run of prelim games in which the champ has scored over 100- I would have thought that these last 9 games are in with a shout. Good score by Chris today, seems a solid player after a slightly wobbly start....

The writing is harder to see on the new permanent whiteboard. Couldn't they use the magnetic numbers with the blue background and symbols instead?

It looks all right to me. One of the reasons they used to give for not using a whiteboard before was because it would reflect the studio lights too much, but somehow they've solved that.Jojo Apollo wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 3:54 pmThe writing is harder to see on the new permanent whiteboard. The only difference I can see is that the pen makes slightly thinner strokes. To be fair, this is still a big change in Countdown terms. Haven't seen upheaval like this since they painted the conundrum flippythings a darker shade of blue. Maybe even since that time they got a clock with a slightly differently-shaped hand.

Yeah that's it, the thinner strokes make it harder to see, for me at least. I suppose a thicker marker pen would help, ideally I'd like to see them use a good old fashioned chalkboard and chalk.Graeme Cole wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 8:30 pmIt looks all right to me. There certainly seems to be an increased recycling of DC guests.
