So, while our American friends celebrate Independence Day, we here in the UK will just have to enjoy watching Andrew Fenton on Countdown, and like last week, the whole of this week's show could be solely devoted to him.....

That's because, the show is only on for 3 days this week, so when Wednesday's show is done, he could be the first octochamp of Series 75, yet when the show returns next week, we might have 2 new players ready and waiting.

In DC for her debut is the actress Alison Steadman, and if she's any relation to our Jen, I hope it will be revealed whilst she's on the show.
