I assume that Jonathan was too - but luckily didn't go for it.Jojo Apollo wrote:I was thinking about halftimes in the FLAMIEST round.
The second numbers is possible, though sadly not by me despite one of the methods being an
extended standard method!
No doubt Liam will never want to look at a man with a hair piece ever again.

The letters in Round 13 were so bad that I wanted to pick up a biopot and smash it over someone's head.
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

MAIZES as an equaller in round 5 when DC went for the more obscure MAISES. It is a mass noun but it's allowed on Apterous and crucially you're just as likely to order maizes in a restaurant as you are fennels.

Re: Spoilers For Wednesday December 16th 2015
I think they actually said what they found in that round was "MAISES, M-A-I-S-E-S... or MAIZES". It could be that their definition of MAIZE was as an alternative spelling of MAISE though.Gavin Chipper wrote:MAIZES as an equaller in round 5 when DC went for the more obscure MAISES. REWAKED is an odd one; not valid on apterous.
Good-natured contest - sad to see Liam go!

Re: Spoilers For Wednesday December 16th 2015
I was going to mention REWAKED. Insane. Why would they even think to look it up? Also it would be surprising if Susie (rather than e.g. Damian) got that because she doesn't seem to have the literal these-are-the-rules mindset that would make her think of forming the past tense in that way.Adam Gillard wrote:REWAKED is an odd one; not valid on apterous.
