Discuss anything that happened in recent games. This is the place to post any words you got that beat Dictionary Corner, or numbers games that evaded Rachel.
So, we're at the beginning of a brand new week, and after 8 brilliant performances by Stephen Briggs, we're back to Square 1 this week, with a clean bill of health and 2 brand new contestants.
Richard Arnold returns in DC too, for his 3rd spell.
Not the best of shows with nerves aplenty out there......, and no offence to Andrew, but at times (especially in the numbers), he didn't look like he was even trying....
PLANTERS/PURSLANE/SUPERNAL in round 4 and DOUTING in round 8.

I don't think this is fair on Andrew. Everyone who has played Countdown in any form, no matter how good they are, has missed an easy numbers game. And 2 large is one of those picks where it's easy to miss a straightforward solution because you get distracted by the wrong large number.
Judging on today's performance, I don't think Andrew's conqueror,Nathan, is going to be around for much longer either, obviously I could be completely wrong and he could go on to be an Octochamp, but I very much doubt it.
