I don't think Susie should've allowed stumpage in round 13, as the entry clearly says "from the US dictionary"...... http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/defin ... h/stumpage
CAROTENE in round 1, OVERSAIL/VALORISE in round 4, ATHELING/TANGIBLE in round 11, NANOBE in round 12 and UPSTAGE in round 13.
3rd Numbers Alt.: (75 - (9 - 6)) x (8 + 4) = 864

Yep. I'd agree. It's something that was explicitly asked about and we were told these words wouldn't be allowed.James Robinson wrote:I don't think Susie should've allowed stumpage in round 13, as the entry clearly says "from the US dictionary"...... http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/defin ... h/stumpage

I thought the rule was US words were ok, but not US spellings of English words?
