Spoilers for Wednesday June 4th 2014 (S70 P95)
Roy Taylor won again, and now is the only person that can possibly steal a finals spot from Andy Gardner. But first, he'd need a third win. Can he get it?

I'm with Mark on that one, unless an alternative spelling has been recently allowed

I would hope Myleene knew how to spell it if Rachel didn't.
There were two 8s in that round anyway - sadly I missed both and stuck at ROOTLED.

Did Pad (the challenger) find a flaw in the conundrum?
Having declared INCORRECT and the solve was shown as INCORRECT (like they normally have done) would he have got the points for being correct?
Daughter Jessica was happy with her alt spot of DIASPORE in the PARODIES round although two CSW words crept into her declarations today.

He did well there. I think it's been discussed on here before that someone could do that. Also I like the way he mocked the whole forced "Hello Rachel" thing at the start. Pity he lost!szodiac wrote:Did Pad (the challenger) find a flaw in the conundrum?

Further to yesterday, the contestants' methods for 270 suggested that they were at full stretch.

He did what I was hoping nobody would until I went on but no, although it exposes a flaw.Gavin Chipper wrote:szodiac wrote:Did Pad (the challenger) find a flaw in the conundrum?

Also I like the way he scrutinised Roy's paper when he discovered he did 270 the same way! Seeing there were several methods I'd say the chances of both doing it the same way were quite remote.Gavin Chipper wrote:He did well there.
