You'll hate this Andy, it's so not your style of music. But I love it, and it always pisses me off at this time of year that they constantly play that Chris Rea 'Driving Home for Christmas' song on the radio when there's a much better driving-home song they could be playing instead. OK, so it's not specific to Christmas, but it's touching and soulful and has a gently urgent riff under the schmaltzy tune that suggests driving and the impatience of wanting to get home. Just pretend you don't know who it is...

Nice one Phil. I feel like i'm in a low budget 80s film right now. Ended up not having time to make a CD, which didn't really bother me, as I conked out on the back seat for the 3 hours from Waterford to Dublin. Graeme, those are brilliant

I just turned the radio beside me back up as Phil's youtube video ended and It sounded exactly like the same fade out on the radio... surely not... nah. Then of course Chris Rea comes on straight away.
