Why do you wake up each day?

Post by Ryan Taylor »

I've probably duplicated a thread by making this but I did search some buzzwords and didn't find anything. I guess it is very similar to the "what makes you happy" thread but meh.

I watched this video over 4 years ago and now I thought I'd ask this forum the same question.

Why do you wake up each day? At present, what makes you want to get out of bed in the morning?

For me, it is the long-term goals that I've laid out for quizzing. It is when I am happiest and I wake up to try and complete my mental list in the long-run.

This will be very different from other people, as some people wake up because of their love for their children, or their partner etc. but I do not envisage these things for myself, my sole objectives in life are all stemmed from quizzical roots and I know that is why I wake up each day.

Oh, and I also wake up in order to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II on the 15th July.

I'm typing this in bed with a hangover and only sausages will rouse me today.

I would say they are more "what do you wake up for?" not "why".

Because I've had enough sleep and also just to see what's gonna happen next. As shit as it can be sometimes the world is infinitely entertaining. Suicide is for impatient people. Death is coming, don't worry and while you're waiting for it, go have a blast.

I couldn't face a sausage
early in the morning Matt. It's just nice to be still alive.

I always empty my bowels at 7.30 on the dot each morning.

Sadly, I don't get up until 8.15
