Spoilers For Wednesday March 9th 2011
Into the midweek we go, and many male hearts will be broken after Michelle was forced to depart yesterday after losing her crown to the impressive Andy McGurn. He may be an Apteforumite, but that's no way to treat a lady.
Oh well, time to bring in the cavalry And look who it is, another Apteforumite, Adam Fleetwood, who takes his place in the challengers' chair.
Can he take down Andy for his crimes
Come on down to the Robinson Recap Corral later on to find out. Yee-haw

Well done Andy and very unlucky, Adam. Great comeback from so far behind to take the game to a crucial.
FLENSER as an appropriate equaller to FLAYERS in the final letters round.

Ouch, very unlucky, Adam. Adam looked dead and buried at the end of the first third - forcing a crucial was amazing. Just a shame it was a hard conundrum (9/10)

Good game Andy, but also many megatons/montages/magnetos of commiserations for Adam. As Dan said, it looked all over at the first TTT, but you forced a crucial (which I got in 2 seconds, yey).

Jeff totally stole my Fleetwood Mac joke! (I think I mentioned it to Dan McColm when I realised he and Adam would be appearing in this series). Well done again Andy on beating a talented opponent. Adam, you played an impressive game too, particularly in the latter stages, and I especially liked the "good luck mate" (if I've lip-read correctly) just after the final numbers game.
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U
C1: SIGNATURE (18) ["9; not written down"]
C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)
Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

Yes, but I have to admit, I had my doubts when I beat him in the BOAT round, where I got FRIAR

Unlucky Adam. Andy was quick out of the blocks there and looked very impressive with spots such as BURROWED and GONDOLA. Although I thought Susie could have asked for the spelling of SEAMIER, as Andy chose a vowel there to give three E's, which could have been the way he was spelling it? I'm not in any way accusing Andy of cheating, merely saying that a spell check there would've been appropriate to make sure. Some really nice spots by both players. FIBROMA went unnoticed as a beater in round 7.

I've just realised that between the start of the show and the first advert break on both yesterday and today i only dropped one point, and then i get progressively worse. Instead of the 15 round format, maybe a 5 round format would best suit me

Given that Ned P seemed to specialise in failing to score in the first two or three rounds if you meet at a later stage it should be a good one to watch!Andy McGurn wrote:I've just realised that between the start of the show and the first advert break on both yesterday and today i only dropped one point, and then i get progressively worse.
