What is you least favourite chore?
We all have things we have to do but hate doing so what is your least favourite chore? And what do you do to alleviate the tedium while doing it?
My two least favourite are ironing and drying my hair. And funnily enough I often do these while watching Countdown!

I love tidying my bedroom, but I've never dusted it, that just seems like a complete waste of time. Drying up is a waste of time as well, as things will just drip dry in the end. I've also given up on shaving, the effect of which lasts for far too short a time to be worth the effort you have to put in to do it (for men), so now I just use clippers once a week or so.

I'd never really considered drying one's hair or shaving as a 'chore', although they are both really annoying (for the former I can't do any work until my hair is dry, since otherwise it would drip onto the keyboard, and the latter, as Jono says, just doesn't last long enough). I've gone for other though, which represents filing letters/bills. I know I could probably get most of my bills done electronically, but when you've already asked the bank half a dozen times to set it up and they've still failed, you lose a bit of motivation in that direction.
Most other chores CF has to do because I am a blindy, although I quite like making the bed because you get to do the fun thing with turning the duvet cover inside out and then shaking the duvet inside it and stuff, awesome fun

Out of the selection, dusting is certainly up there, especially when it comes to my car. It's like a tip at the best of times.
Most of the others I actually don't mind doing, although I've never actually ironed anything. (Thank goodness for mums. )
But I do like to make my own bed and do a bit of the hoovering, even if it drowns out the noise on the telly. And mowing the lawn is nice, because we have one of those tractor mowers that sit on and drive round the garden, and my garden is pretty big, so that's definitely well enjoyable.

Shaving. Most of the others I don't even do.

You know you can get hair straighteners, right?Karen Pearson wrote:ironing and drying my hair.
Difficult one for me to pick an answer to, as my chronic dust allergy makes dusting and vacuuming a genuine health risk at times. I loathe shaving with a passion but I hate having facial hair even more so it's the lesser of two evils. I actually quite like making the bed, if only because I know I'll get to sleep in it later and I enjoy sleeping in a freshly-made bed.
Eh, sod it, dusting it is.

Funnily enough, I often refer to straightening my hair as ironing it!Ben Wilson wrote:You know you can get hair straighteners, right?Karen Pearson wrote:ironing and drying my hair.

Re: What is you least favourite chore?
I always listen to the radio/music/podcasts while doing chores, which actually makes them seem like something to look forward to. So my least favourite is hoovering, since it drowns out the sound.
Also I really enjoy washing toast crumbs off plates. It's incredibly satisfying. Just me?

I've not voted for the things I dislike so much that I never do
