Any recaps from older series should be posted here. This forum is unlikely to contain spoilers, but recaps may contain "forward references" if they are written much later, so approach with caution.

Mon 6 Jul 1992 (Ser 24 Prelim 6) - 100 as Target!

Post by Johnny Canuck »

Mike has just put up Series 24, and looking over the notes, it seems CECIL's easiest possible target in the COC8 final wasn't just a one-shot deal :!: Apologies for not booking this episode in advance, but I've looked for an example of this for a while now (there haven't been any since COC8 AFAIK).

This episode is notable for another reason: its contestants were a father and son. :ugeek:

Countdown recap for Monday 6 July 1992.

C1: Challenger Martin Summers.
C2: Champion Wayne Summers (5 wins, 255 points.) Martin's son, who would also of course go on to win the series and the COC.
DC: Susie Dent and Rula Lenska.
CV: Carol Vorderman.
OT: Other words or solutions.

I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.
