CV: ((10 + 10 - 7) x 50) - 2 (10)

Round 9: W O R N G I R O S

C1 buzzes on 3 seconds to say SORROWING which is correct.
Score: 54–51 (max 68)

With both contestants playing a perfect game until round six, the standard was high, despite the flat selections. Ray's decent spell in the champion's chair is cut short in a very close game thanks to the lottery of the conundrum. James is up against Jean Fricker tomorrow, so you'd better Frickern well read the recap to see how it all unfolds. Or unfolded, almost 18 years ago. Thank you.

This is possible. The notes say CV did ((10 + 10 - 7) x 50) - 2. So the final max is 68, not 65.

Also DC got WIDGET in round 6.

Wiki altered. :D
