Wanted: Awesome Dudes

Any recaps from older series should be posted here. This forum is unlikely to contain spoilers, but recaps may contain "forward references" if they are written much later, so approach with caution.

Would you be able to confirm whether or not CAPEJUT was available in the NODE? (And, if it is, what on earth does it mean?! ;)) Many thanks!
CAJEPUT?
CAJEPUT is an aromatic oil similar to eucalyptus oil, also an Australasian tree related to the bottlebrushes, yielding that oil.
Alternative spelling CAJUPUT: although the oil is described as a mass noun, presumably the tree is pluralizable.

CAJEPUT?
It's in the next edition under CAJUPUT (also CAJEPUT or CAJEPUT OIL) - an aromatic medicinal oil obtained from a tree. And it was in the Official Countdown Words book, which predates the NODE, which suggests it was in the NODE too, unless it fell out for an edition and then got put back in again.

Well remembered. But yes, the old one is a bit rubbish, including the wrong date and a missed numbers solution, so you may as well redo it.

Series 48 is now completed! I can't tell you how satisfying it is to see that series in bold on the front page. Thanks everyone for your hard work.

Only 132 recaps until we have a complete record of the 15-round era, which has (tragically enough) been one of my life goals for years.

Strictly not true, as since you haven't started Series 63 on the database yet, the 19 recaps for this series aren't up yet. That is unless you've included the 19 in your 132.

Oh wow, people really need to prod me more often about these things. I know someone reminded me already but I can't be expected to take the 30 seconds required to add a new series. Anyway, it's up now. I'll upload the back log later today unless someone else can be bothered first.

Amazing progress. By my reckoning, we have only 108 15-round recaps left before we have total coverage. The missing ones break down as follows:

Series 63: 2 (most recent Fridays, presumably in the pipeline)
Series 47: 47
Series 46: 59

Corrections to the usual address.

I'm not entirely sure that Dickens used the emoticon.
He probably put his comma in a different place, too.
In that case, Dickens must've had an off-day when he wrote Oliver Twist.

Having done some googling, I was surprised to learn that the exact quote is "Please, Sir, I want some more". I agree with Howard's comment about dodgy comma usage, though. :)

Hmmm, must've been an odd time in the 19th Century. :? Oh well.

By the way, I'd like some more recaps, when you're ready, Charlie. ;) :) :D

I'm quite happy to do some more, but at the moment my machine's v poorly :( so I'm going to have to sort out this flippin' disc first.

Sorry to be stepping back when I had been so enthusiastic but the first lot was like pulling teeth. Once I'm back up and running smoothly again I'll do some more. Keep up the great work tho chaps! (And the recapper - great tool! :D )

Thanks, I've always thought it was a great tool but in the past it was surprisingly difficult to get people to give it a go. I know it's not very aesthetically pleasing but it's reliable and does the job much better than the alternatives, such as they are.
